on any favorite desktop! There is a separation in the oak base were the two pieces join together (see pics).
This does not detract from the overall beauty and certainly not something that would bother me.
It is, however, an easy fix with tiny bit of wood glue.

Vintage 1920's desktop lamp is of pristine quality. Weighing over 7lbs, this is a solid piece,
and quite heavy. Some say this is Regency Style lamp. Others might say Art Nouveau.
Independent On/Off twist switch located at the base. Antique Bronze finish.
Lamp has been tested and works perfectly! Looks awesome both on or off!

Slight ding/ dent in one spot, close to the bulb socket, see photos. Personally, this would not bother me,
